Michael Jackson's Forgotten Music out in November

As one of Michael Jackson's fans, I read an exciting online news story called "Michael Jackson's Forgotten Music out in November" which was published on 30 July 2010. This story was written by Alan Duke. You can read it here.

In terms of content and structure, firstly, the story points out that Jackson's forgotten recordings left behind on computer hard drives will be on an album released this fall. Then, it shows that one of the singer's older brothers — Jackie Jackson, music producer Rodney Jerkins and one of executors of Jackson's estate — John McClain have been working with Sony to put together the new album which will include 10 previously unheard songs. Also, the story indicates a series of issues including Jackson renting out Los Angeles recording studios, a producer finding a large cache of forgotten Jackson music files and how to deal with these music files. Finally, the story illustrates that Sony's Columbia Records has a contract with Jackson's estate for 10 albums of unreleased material over the next seven years. I think that the content is very informative, but the structure is unclear. The reason may be that there are too much information in the story.

With regard of values,  the story has reliability and authenticity to some extend, because almost every source in this story is provided by Jackson's estate spokesman — Jim Bates or a source familiar with the project. But, one thing to be mentioned is that whether the so-called "a source familiar" is a real man or a fictional man.

The online page includes the main story, a photo of Jackson and some related links.  Besides, I can express my views and communicate with others in message area.

In conclution, I think that the story will arouse widespread attention, beacuse the release of the new album is  a great news for Jackson's fans, especially at the time after his death.
